Hannibal Man Airlifted to Hospital After Motorcycle Crash

A motorcycle crash  5 miles west of Hannibal seriously injures a Hannibal man. 

The Missouri State Patrol says 28 year old Steven Watkins lost control on his westbound Suzuki on Route MM at 5:45 p.m. Saturday.  The cycle ran off the road and overturned.  Watkins was thrown from the bike.

He suffered serious injuries and was transported to the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia by Air Evac.

According to the Patrol report, Watkins was wearing a helmet.

Troopers were assisted by the Hannibal Rural Fire Department,  the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and Marion County Ambulance.
