Hannibal Jaycees Say National Tom Sawyer Days is ON!

Hannibal’s premiere summertime festival will happen in 2020.

Officials with the Hannibal Jaycees announced Thursday the annual National Tom Sawyer Days celebration is on for the Fourth of July weekend … but it will look very different than it has over the last six-plus decades.

The Jaycee committee responsible for staging the celebration has evaluated each event on the schedule in terms of the additional sanitation and safety measures that will be necessary to proceed.

The Jaycees say they are in constant contact with government and health department officials, following the Governor’s updates to make sure they adhere to recommended guidelines.

The 65th annual National Tom Sawyer Days is scheduled for July 2nd through the 4th.
