Long Time Hannibal Jaycee Elected Missouri State JC President

A long time member of the Hannibal Jaycees adds another honor to her already-impressive resume.

At the Missouri Jaycee Winter State Meeting at the Lake of the Ozarks on January 15, Ashley Veach of Hannibal was installed as the 101st Missouri State Jaycee President.

Ashley has been a member of the Hannibal Jaycees since 2015.

Among the offices she has held in her time with the Jaycees are Local President, Jaycee Mentor, First Vice President (Membership Recruitment and Retention), Board Member, Chairman of the Board, Region 2 Director and Missouri State Vice President.

But that's not all. Ashley has served as chairman of Hannibal Jaycee events like the Wing Ding, Chili Cookoff, Monster Bash and National Tom Sawyer Days.

She has also helped plan and run the escape rooms for the Warehouse of Nightmares and planned several rooms inside the Haunted House.

Ashley says her personal favorite event is the National Fence Painting Contest during National Tom Sawyer Days.

She also greatly enjoys watching new Jaycee members join, step in and grow as leaders in the organization and the community.

Along with her many Hannibal and Missouri Jaycee duties, Ashley is married to Jeff Veach and is mom to Kaydence, Addison and Shelby.
