High school football's second season begins next weekend.
For the Hannibal Pirates with a rematch of last season's snowy district championship game. Ft Zumwalt East visits Porter Stadium next Friday night in the Class 4 District 4 quarterfinals. The Lions finished 8th in district points but the won a head to head matchup with Ft. Zumwalt South to move up a spot in the seedings. The winner meets either Marshall or St Dominc in the semifnals on November 8th. Below are the seedings and quarterfinal matchups in  bracket order. The higher seed is the host school.

In Class 2, Clark County has the top seed followed by Monroe City and Palmyra. The higher seed is the host school.

In Class 1, Brentwood has the #1 seed, South Callaway is seeded second and South Shelby 3rd. The higher seed hosts.

In 8 man football, North Shelby has a #3 seed. They host Braymer on Friday. The winner advances to take on Orrick in the district semifinals.
