A Hannibal couple faces a number of charges following their arrest by Hannibal Police Thursday afternoon.

According to Marion County Prosecuting Attorney David Clayton, HPD officers were called to a residence on North 4th Street on a report of drug activity.

A search of the residence uncovered methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, firearms and ammunition.

Taken into custody were Robert and Heather Roland. The charges filed by Clayton include multiple counts of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Both the Rolands are convicted felons.

They are being held in the Marion County Jail on $50,000 bond each.
