Hannibal's City Council meets tonight. 7 p.m. in council chambers.

Council members vote on a resolution tonight to enter into a contract with Terracon Consultants for environmental consulting services related to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources Brownfields/Voluntary Cleanup program and leaking underground storage tanks at 929 Warren Barrett. Also before the council is another resolution for a 10-thousand dollar engineering service agreement between the city and Poepping-Stone-Bach for revision of the leachate management plan at the Hannibal Landfill.

A series of proposed street closure requests for high school graduation, the Mississippi River Run, The Hannibal Cannibal and Twain on Main also come before the city council tonight.
