Hannibal Business Climate Heating Up [Audio]

(Hannibal)--Business activity in Hannibal is on the upswing, according to McKenzie Disselhorst, Executive Director of the Hannibal Area Chamber of Commerce.

One example-- Huck Finn Shopping Center—has most of its vacancies filled.

Along McMasters Avenue, Casey’s plans to occupy the Martin’s True Value building. A CVS Pharmacy will soon spring up near the corner of West Ely and Highway 61, and the Steamboat Bend Shopping Center expansion involves a couple of restaurants.

Disselhorst says Hannibal’s downtown merchants continue to thrive and are definitely open for business, despite ongoing construction projects.
