Guilty Plea on Burglary Charges in Newcomb Hotel Fire
A negotiated plea of guilty to burglary charges related to the Newcomb Hotel building fire in Quincy last September means a four and a half year sentencing cap for 25-year-old Mathew Clark.
He is accused of starting that fire while looking for scrap metal in the vacant building on September 6.
A criminal damage to property charge was dropped but Clark is on the hook for restitution.
