Everyone seems to have a Super Bowl prediction. All the pundits, informed and otherwise, will weigh in. We’ll have politicians and celebrities weighing in. Even a groundhog has made its predictions.

Because this year’s Super Bowl falls on Groundhog Day, the New Jersey Star Ledger put a local groundhog to work on predicting the Super Bowl. I concur with the groundhog’s choice in the AFC and for Super Bowl Champion.

One significant prediction is already out there regarding the weather. Super Bowl 48 will be the first Super Bowl played outdoors in a cold weather environment at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The Farmer’s Almanac created a stir a while back with their prediction of a major winter storm in the New York and New Jersey area on Super Bowl weekend.
