Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner was in Quincy Monday morning to talk about what needs to be done to get the state back on track.

The governor toured Phibro Animal Health, an animal health and nutrition company that recently announced expansion plans.

Rauner used Phibro as an example of a company that has helped fuel the Illinois economy. The governor talked about making the state more competitive for businesses through job creation, lower property taxes and stronger schools.
