A head-on crash in the St. Louis area leaves four occupants of one car dead, including two children.
The crash occurred on Highway 47 around 1:30 p.m. Friday in Franklin County, near Union. The Missouri Highway Patrol says 58 year-old Michael Declue of Desoto was driving a southbound car that crossed the center line and hit a northbound semi.

Declue and three passengers, 78 year-old Catherine Mesey of Desoto, and a 4 year-old girl and five year-old boy from Desloge, were all pronounced dead at the scene.

After the initial head on crash, Declue’s car spun around and struck the side of another southbound car. A second southbound semi was struck by debris from the initial crash.
