Icy and snowy road conditions in northeast Missouri Monday results in a number of traffic crashes around the area.

Both drivers are hurt in a car-truck crash on Highway 6 south of Maywood at 9 a.m. Monday.

The Highway Patrol reports 43 year old Daniel McCollum of LaBelle was eastbound when he lost control of this pickup on the ice covered roadway and collided head on with a westbound car driven by 71 year old Linda Getz of Maywood.

McCollum suffered minor injuries and was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital. Getz was taken to Blessing Hospital in Quincy for treatment of serious injuries.

 

A Moberly woman suffers serious injuries in a one car crash on Highway 24 west of Madison at 10:50 a.m. Monday.

The Highway Patrol reports 24 year old Candyce Cinatl was westbound when her car crossed the center line, slid off the road and struck a ditch.

Cinatl was taken to Moberly Regional Medical Center for treatment.

 

Both drivers escape with minor injuries in a two vehicle crash on Highway 136 east of Arbela in Scotland County at 11:10 a.m. Monday.

The Highway Patrol reports 22 year old Jesse Lochman of Hannibal was westbound when he lost control on the ice and snow covered road, crossed the center line and struck an eastbound SUV driven by 50 year old Rhonda Marsden of Wyaconda.

Lochman and Marsden were taken to Scotland County Memorial Hospital in Memphis for treatment.
