First Day of Fence Painting Friday at National Tom Sawyer Days

Another full day of activities is in store Friday as the 64th National Tom Sawyer Days continues.

The Evening Kiwanis’ arts and crafts open in Central Park at 9 a.m.

Friday is day one of fence painting, with local, pee-wees and girls competing at North Main and Hill Street at 2 p.m.

There will be trike races on the lot inside Tanyard Gardens, also at 2.
Day two of mud volleyball starts at 5 in the Y Men’s Pavilion.

And, gates at Tanyard Gardens open at 6:30 as the American Standard Band takes the stage.
