Fire on Hope Street in Hannibal

Fire early Monday afternoon damages a house in the 1900 block of Hope in Hannibal.
Hannibal Firefighters say the alarm came in around 1:30 p-m. Flames were knocked down quickly and no one was home at the time.
Fire Chief Sean Hampton says most of the fire damage was in the kitchen. A frozen fire hydrant nearby complicated firefighting efforts.
