Fire Damages Vacant Hannibal Motel

Investigators say a fire Wednesday evening in a vacant Hannibal motel remains under investigation.
Hannibal Fire Chief Mike Benjamin says crews arrived at the Best Way Inn building at 612 Mark Twain Avenue to find black smoke coming from a room used for storage. The fire was knocked down quickly. Utilities were not connected to the building. The fire is termed incendiary.
