Fire Damages Quincy Home

Quincy firefighters made short work of a kitchen fire early Wednesday morning.
Fire crews were called around 5:00 am to 1226 Jefferson. One person in the house escaped safely. Firefighters needed about 10 minutes to extinguish the flames. No word at this time on the cause.
