Fire Damages Hannibal Garage

Investigators term a structure fire behind 2001 Grace in Hannibal as incendiary in nature.

Hannibal firefighters were called to that address at 2:24 Sunday afternoon. Firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke and flames coming from a two car detached garage. Fire crews contained and extinguished the flames within 13 minutes.

Investigators say no one was in the garage at the time of the fire and that the building sustained heavy damage. A nearby house sustained moderate heat damage to its exterior.
