Fire Tuesday morning damages a house at 527 Lind in Quincy.
Fire crews were called around 5:00 am. They arrived to find heavy flames coming off the west side of the house. Fire officials say six people lived in an upstairs unit and three lived in a downstairs apartment. Residents were alerted to the fire by a smoke detector. No word at this time on the cause. The Red Cross is assisting the displaced families.
