Fire Damages a Canton Home Monday Night

Fire Monday night damages a house at 320 Jefferson in Canton.
Firefighters were called to the scene shortly before 10 p-m. They arrived to find
heavy smoke and fire coming from the south side of the house. The occupant of the house was not home when the fire started. Fire officials say the house is a total loss. An investigation is underway to determine the cause.
