A St. Charles woman who stole nearly $11,000 from a high school booster club won't do jail time for the crime, but she's required to pay back the money.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that 45-year-old Jane Elizabeth Windorski pleaded guilty to felony theft and was sentenced to five years in jail but with a suspended sentence. Also at a hearing last week, she was given two years to pay back the $10,877 taken from the St. Charles High School Booster Club.

Windorski was treasurer of the club when she made withdrawals to gamble at a casino and make other personal expenditures.
