Emergency Crews Respond to Vehicle Crash At Hannibal KFC
On Monday afternoon, a pickup truck driven by a 98-year-old Hannibal resident struck the Hannibal KFC restaurant (229 N US 61). Officers on the scene discovered the 2005 Ford Ranger had been traveling south on US 61, made a rapid left turn into the Cassano’s parking lot, ran through a chain link fence, and struck the southwest corner of the KFC restaurant. The collision damaged the building.
The Hannibal Police Department was assisted by the Hannibal Fire Department and Marion County Ambulance Services who transported the driver from the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
