Electrical Problem Blamed in Quincy House Fire

An electrical problem is blamed for a Monday afternoon house fire in Quincy.  Quincy firefighters were called to 2200 Spruce around 4 p-m. Smoke was coming from the windows as firefighters arrived. The homeowner—Kymia Voepel says the fire started in an electrical outlet where a space heater was plugged in. Fire damage was contained to one room. There is smoke damage to the rest of the house.
