Hannibal Fire Department investigators say an electrical problem caused a fire Sunday night at 3100 Moberly Avenue.

Firefighters were called to that address at 10:04 p-m. The fire was located in the kitchen ceiling area. The ceiling and insulation were removed and the fire was extinguished. The house sustained moderate fire and smoke damage in the kitchen area. Eight firefighters battled the fire. They left the house shortly after midnight. No injuries are reported. The Red Cross is assisting the three occupants.
