
Eastern Missouri Dispute Leaves 2 Dead, 2 Seriously Wounded
JONESBURG, Mo. (AP) - A 23-year-old eastern Missouri man is charged with stabbing two people to death and critically wounding two others in what police say is a domestic dispute.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports a man called 911 just before 8 p.m. Friday and said he stabbed his wife and killed several others at a home south of Jonesburg.
Warren County deputies found a 22-year-old Montgomery City woman and 29-year-old Jonesburg woman dead from stab wounds. A 27-year-old woman and 8-year-old boy were found alive and flown to an area hospital, where they were in critical condition Saturday.
Shawn Kavanagh of Bellflower was charged Saturday with two counts of first-degree murder, domestic assault, assault, armed criminal action and burglary.
He was being held without bond in the Warren County jail.
