Driver Ticketed for DUI After Car Hits House

A New London man is hurt and ticketed as the result of a single vehicle crash in the 3200 block of St. Mary’s Avenue in Hannibal Thursday.

Hannibal Police report that the vehicle, driven by a 21 year old New London man, ran off the road and struck a house.

Officers report there was extensive damage to the house. No one was home at the time.

The driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated and taken to Hannibal Regional for evaluation.

The crash remains under investigation by Hannibal Police.
