Demolition of Old Maryland Hotel Progressing

(Hannibal, Mo)--Work is progressing on dismantling a structure located in the 300 Block of Broadway next to Hannibal City Hall.The building known as the Old Maryland Hotel was in disrepair for a number of years before being sold for demolition purposes.

Bricker Excavating began the process of tearing down the building last fall before running into a number of delays, including phone lines that had to be relocated and environmental investigations by OSHA and DNR.
