DCFS Reveals Name of Child Care Provider Under Investigation

The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services has released the name of the daycare provider under investigation following an incident involving a one-year-old girl last week.

DCFS officials report they are investigating Tasha Farris who operated a daycare center out of her home.

The investigation centers around the incident last Thursday in which the one-year-old was left in a hot van for about a half hour.

The girl was taken to Blessing Hospital for observation and released the next day.
