Danville Completes Sweep of Cavemen Wednesday

The Hannibal Cavemen lose for the seventh time this season, 6-2 to the Danville Dans Wednesday night at Clemens Field.

The Dans scored a run in the third on a double and an RBI single by left fielder Yoonjae Nam. Danville added two more in the fifth on a bases-loaded single by center fielder Joey Fiske and a throwing error.

The Cavemen's runs came in the fifth on an RBI double by right fielder Dustin Woodcock, and in the eighth on a double by pitcher Stefan Miladinovich.

Josh Griffith was the starter and losing pitcher for Hannibal, while Danville starter Bryce Reichmann got the win.

The Cavemen open a two-game series at QU Stadium in Quincy Thursday night. Game time is 7:05 p.m.
