(Hannibal, Mo)—6th District U.S. Congressman Sam Graves pays a visit to Hannibal Friday afternoon, to listen to constituents concerns.  Graves stood in the shop area of Bleigh Ready-Mix and fielded a variety of questions from a crowd of over 50 people.  Graves says Washington doesn’t have a revenue problem, it has a spending problem.  He says the Senate must do something it hasn’t done in four years—pass a budget, or the ‘fiscal cliff” also known as sequestration will once again kick in…

Graves Sequestration:

Graves says although most of the tax cuts were retained, there’s still a lot of uncertainty going forward, in light of government regulation and Presidential Executive Orders.

Other politicians on hand for the event included State Representative Lindell Shumake and State Senator Brian Munzlinger.
