The Marion County Commissioners Monday decided not to display some recently donated photos inside the county courthouse.

Last week, the county received some hundred-year-old photos of the statue of Lady Justice that stands atop the courthouse.

However, there were misgivings on the display of the photos because close-ups of the statue showed Lady Justice has a bare right breast.

The commissioners voted unanimously not to hang the pictures in the courthouse, but will keep the photos in an archive folder in the county clerk’s office.
