Citizen Assists in Officer Assault Arrest

Kahoka Police say a citizen assisted in arrest for assaulting a law officer.

Kahoka Police Chief Bill Conger says an individual assaulted officer Ryan Orr and tried to run from the scene. A citizen witnessed the incident and was able to catch the suspect and keep him from escaping until officer Orr was able to handcuff the suspect.
