Police say a missing 16-year-old central Missouri girl has been found safe.

Versailles police issued an endangered person advisory Tuesday for Kiaira Lazae Burris after she left a McDonald's in Versailles with an unknown person and her mother received a call in which Burris sounded distraught.

Police canceled the advisory early Wednesday after Burris was found. No other details were released.

[Original Story] Police have issued an endangered person advisory for a 16-year-old central Missouri girl.

Versailles police say Kiaira Lazae Burris left a McDonald's in Versailles Tuesday afternoon with an unknown person. About 9:30 Tuesday night, her mother received a phone call from an unknown number. Police say Burris sounded distraught and her mother heard a man in the background say "I hid the body" several times before the call was disconnected.

Burris is described as black, 5-foot-7, 175 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. She has a tattoo of a rose outline on her left arm. She was wearing a brown and tan sleeveless sundress, black sandals with pearls, and carrying a black backpack when was last seen.
