Case of Daycare Provider Reckless Conduct Continued

A continuance was granted Friday in Adams County Circuit Court in the case of a former daycare provider charged with reckless conduct in the death of an infant last year.

Patricia Tipton is charged in connection with the death of two year old Pravyn McBride-Meyer. Meyer was found in the pool at the site of Tipton’s daycare facility. The child died the next day at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

A jury trial for Tipton has been scheduled for January 11.
