The first degree murder trial of a Quincy man has been continued for another month.

In Adams County Circuit Court Wednesday, the murder and armed robbery trial of 56 year old Steven Gavin was continued until February 13th.

The continuance was granted so that a cellphone location data report could be obtained from the FBI.

Gavin was arrested in May of 2017 in connection with the 2015 death of Carlous Wires, who was allegedly killed over a disagreement about a drug purchase.

Gavin has pleaded not guilty to the charges. He remains in the Adams County Jail on $5-million dollars bond.
