The 2015 murder case of a Quincy man charged in the death of another Quincy man has been continued.

In Adams County Circuit Court Wednesday, the attorney for 55 year old Steven Gavin told Judge Robert Adrian that he hadn’t yet received a report from a cell phone expert in the case.

Adrian continued the case until September 12th.

Gavin is charged with four counts of first degree murder and robbery in the November 23rd, 2015 shooting death of Carlous Wires. Gavin has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Gavin remains in the Adams County Jail on $5-million dollars bond.
