Car Strikes Man in Downtown Hannibal
Hannibal Police respond to a car-pedestrian accident Friday evening at the intersection of 3rd and Broadway.
The driver of the SUV and witnesses told police the pedestrian, a 36 year old Hannibal man, was lying in the northern crosswalk of the northbound lane of 3rd St.The SUV struck the pedestrian and the driver immediately stopped. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
The extent of the man's injuries was not disclosed. Names of the individuals involved were not released in the initial HPD report.
