Canton Man Found Not Guilty of Murder

A verdict of not guilty is returned for a Canton man accused of first degree murder in the shooting of his step father. Cody Wilson faced the charge in the death of 56 year old David Brooks on April 27, 2017. Wilson stated that he found Brooks dead in the home. Brooks was shot in the chest with a large caliber hand gun. The trial was held in Adair County on a change of venue
