Body Found in Quincy Apartment Fire Identified

Authorities have identified the victim found in an apartment fire at 219 S. 11^th in Quincy. Adams County Coroner Jim Keller says 54-year-old Kimberly Young died of natural causes prior to the fire.

Firefighters were called to the scene Thursday shortly before 2 p.m. They found Young’s body in the apartment a short time later.

The exact cause of the fire remains under investigation.
