Quincy Firefighters Respond to Apartment Fire Sunday

Quincy firefighters respond to an apartment fire at 1120 Lind at 7:45 a.m. Sunday.

Crews arrived to find visible smoke coming from the second floor of the east side of the building. When firefighters entered the structure, they found flames in the living room.

The fire was brought under control quickly. No one was hurt.

The resident of the apartment was displaced, along with the occupants of the apartment below due to water damage.

Crews were on the scene about two hours.

The cause of the fire so far is unknown. The investigation continues.
