The body of a western Missouri man who disappeared while duck hunting has been found in the water at a wildlife area 90 miles north of his home.

The Kansas City Star reports 29-year-old Adam Nixson of Pleasant Hill was reported missing Dec. 28 after he failed to return from a hunting trip in Vernon County.

Search teams found his body Friday morning at Four Rivers Conservation Area near Rich Hill.

His body was taken to a funeral home in Nevada, Missouri.
