Blessing Hospital’s plans to expand the Moorman Pavilion building are approved by the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board.
Work will be finished on the fourth floor and a fifth and sixth floor will be added. The project does not add to the number of patient beds. The plan does make the majority of medical-surgical rooms single bed rooms by moving 96 beds from the 1970 patient tower to create three floors of single bed rooms at Moorman Pavilion. The expansion project is expected to be completed in early 2021.
