Barry Woman Fatally Injured in Car-Semi Collision

(Pittsfield, Ill)—A car-semi collision on Ill. 106 near Pittsfield shortly before 8 a.m. Monday morning results in the death of a Barry woman.  Pike County Deputies say a semi was traveling westbound on Ill. 106, two miles west of the US 54 junction near Pittsfield when it left the roadway, came back on to the road before traveling into the eastbound lane and jack-knifing into an SUV driven by 44 year-old Melissa Warning of Barry.  Warning was pronounced dead at the scene.
