Concerns about flu result in visit restrictions at Blessing Hospital in Quincy and at Illini Community Hospital in Pittsfield.
Hospital officials ask that children under 16 should not visit unless they need outpatient care including emergency or ambulatory care… have therapy… tests or procedures scheduled or are visiting a family member who is a patient at the end of life.

Blessing officials say the restrictions are in compliance with recommendations from the Illinois Department of Public Health when flu outbreaks reach a regional level.
