A man accused of involuntary manslaughter in the shooting death of Austin Michael Hermann made an initial court appearance Monday. 

21-year-old Zachary Ballinger is accused of pointing a rifle at Hermann and firing one round. Hermann was pronounced dead less than an hour later.

Ballinger is also charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver. Bond was set at 50-thousand dollars. Ballinger is due back in court April 8th.
