A two-month investigation by multiple law enforcement agencies leads to a total of nine arrests on federal drug charges.

The investigation into the distribution of methamphetamine ICE in the Adams County area began in July with the arrests of 32 year old Leshawn Stanbridge, 22 year old Colton Parsons and 24 year old Casey Lierly, all of Quincy. All three were indicted on federal charges of distribution of meth.

A traffic stop on August 13th results in the arrest of 31 year old Kyle Bergman of Quincy on meth and firearms charges.

Four days later, the execution of a search warrant at 2112 Rainbow Lane in Quincy results in the discovery of eleven pounds of meth ICE and eight pounds of cannabis. Taken into custody on meth charges were 40 year old John Varley, 60 year old Everett J. Humphrey and 30 year old Everett E. Humphrey, all of Quincy.

A vehicle seen leaving the Rainbow Lane residence was stopped later near Astoria, Illinois. Arrested on federal meth charges were 31 year old Jason Ballard of Peoria and 33 year old Ryan Robinson of Denver, Colorado.

Everett J. Humphrey is free on bail. The other eight are in the custody of the U.S. Marshal Service.
