A Quincy man is sentenced to federal prison time on meth related charges.

36-year-old Jared Mallady was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison in U.S. District Court in Springfield.

Mallady was indicted on federal charges in October of 2013. He pleaded guilty to two meth-related charges in March.

Mallady was accused of conspiring to manufacture and distribute meth and purchasing pseudoephedrine with intent to manufacture meth.

Mallady had originally been charged in three different states over a ten month period.
