Arkansas Man Held After Weekend Incident in Ewing

An Arkansas man faces charges in Lewis County after authorities say he hit two people with his car early Saturday morning.

Deputies say the incident occurred in the 200 block of Cherry in Ewing. Lewis County Sheriff David Parrish says 35-year-old Timothy Strain of Cave City, Arkansas is charged with leaving the scene of an accident and resisting arrest by fleeing.

Strain is held in the Lewis County Jail on 20-thousand dollars cash only bond.
