Amanda Perry Waives Right to Jury Trial

A Quincy woman charged with shooting her husband waived her right to a jury trial in Adams County Court Tuesday.

34 year old Amanda Perry is charged with attempted murder in connection with the shooting of Michael Perry in their home on July 5th.

Amanda Perry is also charged with aggravated battery with a firearm, aggravated discharge of a firearm, aggravated domestic battery and reckless discharge of a firearm.

Perry will be back in court for a plea hearing October 17th. She is lodged in the Adams County Jail on $250,000 bond.
