(BOWLING GREEN)--   A man accused of pointing a gun at the Pike County sheriff and a delivery driver enters an Alford plea to two felony counts of unlawful use of a weapon.    The plea means 54-year-old Leroy Roger Shinn of Bowling Green does not admit guilt.. but agrees there might be enough evidence to convict him at trial. Shinn is sentenced to five years of supervised probation on the weapons charges. Shinn also pleads guilty to a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated and was sentenced to two years of unsupervised probation. Another felony charge was dropped.
Shinn was charged with pointing a gun at a delivery driver and at Pike County Sheriff Stephen Korte at the suspect’s home along Pike County Road 132 on November 20th of last year.

No shots were fired and there were no injuries.
Authorities say the incident followed an accident involving the Federal Express driver and Shinn.
