(MACON)—Missouri Highway Patrol Troop B officials say a St. Patrick’s Weekend DWI enforcement campaign in northeast Missouri netted six arrests.

Troopers report two arrests for driving while intoxicated, one motorist was ticketed for speeding. There were also arrests for a hazardous moving violation, an insurance violation and a driver’s license violation.

Six troopers were on patrol in northeast Missouri between 11 p.m. Saturday night and 3 a.m. Sunday with the specific goal of detecting impaired drivers and other violations that contribute to traffic crashes.
